My printer won't scan:
When this occurs, it most commonly is due to either the drivers not being installed correctly or at all. As a result, you will want to download the "driver suite" from the printer manufacturer's website. For your convenience, you can choose your model below to go directly to the correct page.
My computer won't print:
Please make sure that you have already installed the "driver suite" mentioned above. If that does not resolve your issue, then please follow these steps to re-install the printer.
1. For Windows 7: Go to your Start Menu on the lower left hand side of your screen, and choose Devices and Printers. That will bring up a window that should look similar to the one below.
For Windows 8: Right click on the Start Menu and choose Control Panel. In that window, click on Devices and Printers. You may need to set View By to icons in the top right.
2. Find the printer that you have, right click on it, and choose Remove Device. If it asks anything about deleting the driver, say yes. Restart your computer once you have completed this step.
Note: It is okay if it does not ask you about deleting the driver.
3. Download the drivers for your printer and install them. You can use the links above for your printer's model (under "My printer won't scan"). Once installed, restart for good measure and try to print again.
